When we moved here from out of state our daughter needed tutoring to bring here up to speed. Bandera schools provided this service without charge after school. They provided a late bus to bring our daughter home from school. No child goes without a meal even if they are unable to pay. On test day they provide breakfast to make sure the kids are at their best for the day. We receive continuous updates by email of our childs progress. If you like a small town country school feel with an excellent program for your child...this is the right place. Most of these kids are bused in from the country which gives a good diversification. The teachers are involved with each student. If the parent shows an interest in the education system, there is always room to participate in all aspects of your childs education.

When my daughter started these schools was pretty good but now I'm so disappointed in how things are run. I've never seen or heard of a school that has so much bullying. Not only by students but by the teachers. The cheer group is a joke and so is the athletic department. At first I thought it was me but then I learned differently listening to other parents and their disappointment as well. I really expected a lot more from a small town but this is just ridiculous. Its so bad they couldn't even find anyone to do PTO past this year. Not only the bullies but the drugs here are ridiculous. Enough is enough. My children will never go back here.

Man. I attended this school decades ago and it was a great experience. Now, I'm hearing from several VERY CLOSE sources that this school's administration now is just downright AWFUL. Y'all treat your aides and paraprofessionals, especially, absolutely heinously. The way your staff is getting treated, y'all should be reported and shutdown. This is absolutely pathetic and pitiful behavior from what y'all used to be.It's not like y'all have a HUGE population of willing individuals to choose from. These are human beings you are stepping on. These are good people doing honest work here.You should feel ashamed.
