8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIF YOU HAVE A SPECIAL EDUCATION CHILD DO NOT BRING THEM TO CABOT!!!!!!!!!! If you are looking to move your kids to a School that is more worried about sports and passing standardized testing than actually getting a good education from people who are passionate about your child Cabot is the place for you! We moved to Cabot because we were told that the School district was a great place to be. I will tell you after elementary school the schools are HORRIBLE. This is a small town with a small town mentality. The administration is not put in place because of talent or exceptional work it is very obvious it is all about who you know!!Parent Review7y ago6 Reviews - Cabot Middle School South

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I’ve been deeply disappointed with how my kid’s mental health and well-being were handled at this school. While there are some truly wonderful teachers and staff who care, the school as a whole failed my kid in a significant and heartbreaking way.My kid has been struggling with serious stressful issues — much of it brought on or worsened by their experience at school. These issues were not invisible; teachers acknowledged them, and the administration was aware. Yet time and time again, those struggles were brushed aside. There was no consistent follow-through, no real support system in place — just temporary gestures that led nowhere. What makes it even more painful is the clear contrast we see outside of school. When they are home, around friends, or doing activities they enjoy, they are the thoughtful, kind, and funny kid we know and love. But during the school year, the stress, miscommunication, and lack of meaningful support completely changed them. They became easily frustrated and emotionally exhausted. That kind of change doesn’t happen without a cause. At first, some teachers tried to keep us informed and involved about our kid’s challenges and behavior. But this communication stopped around the end of this school year, leaving us in the dark about how much trouble our kid was getting into throughout the day. We had no idea the extent of what was happening until it was too late.Unfortunately, communication from administration was even less consistent. We were often left out of the loop and were frequently informed of serious issues at the last minute — sometimes only after events had occurred — leaving us feeling unprepared and sidelined as parents. As parents, we can only do so much from home. We don’t see what really happens at school, and there are always two sides to every story. That’s why clear, honest communication and genuine support from the school are so crucial. Without that partnership, it’s impossible to help our kids fully. To the few staff members who did show compassion and care: thank you. Your efforts meant something to our kid and to us. This experience has been difficult for our family, and while we would still recommend this school because of the some of the great staff and potential it has, it’s clear they have a lot of internal work to do.Parent Review11mo ago8 Reviews - Cabot Junior High South

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying is a big concern at Cabot Junior High South. The building is becoming too small for the increasing number of students. The school is most of the time unstructured. Some of the students act immature for their age. It can be a difficult transition from Middle School South with the loss of more structure at CJHS. I would recommened Junior High North over South. They have a bigger, better, and Newer building that they do.Other Review14y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near 14 Sandy Ave.

"Good town schools are overrated. Kids get tossed to the wolves with zero follow up. They expect parents to play a larger role than is possible. "

"in apartment. pets cost extra each month and smaller space means no hyper energetic or large dogs. picking up after pet is required. do see the occasional dog being walked, but mostly small dogs with the occasional medium sized dog appearing every now and again."

"The dog owners seem happy but I don’t see too many dogs because the land is spaced out and the dogs are in their own yard. "

"Commuting is a struggle. I drove to southwest Little Rock for 6 years. I had two accidents and witnessed countless ones on highway 67/167. It is getting better but is still a challenge. Cabot traffic has gotten better but has a long ways to go. Growth causes growing pains. "

"Don't really know haven't lived here that long. Schools and parks are well kept up. The city is very clean and doesn't have much crime. The neighborhood's are usually well kept and people are very friendly. The dog park is very clean. Their are a variety of different churches, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, convenience stations, golf courses, fishing places and much more are well kept up. "

"Friendliness and neighborliness. Prices are low for the safety and conveniences here. There is a very large contingency of service members or retired military here. The schools are also among the best I’ve ever seen. Our children are cared for and challenged by staff who take their responsibilities very seriously. This is a great place to live. "
