8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does nothing to teach kids reality or prepare them for college. They allow late work weeks and months after due dates, they allow kids to act up in class and distract the others, they allow poor grades to be changed at the end of the period in order to pass. The even allow kids to use their laptops to use Google translate in order to pass language classes. Our child learned no Spanish after two years because all they did was translate it all online to get the answers needed to pass. They only teach the kids how to pass a class, not how to be students or how to learn. The school cares about how they appear to get funding, not what they teach these kids. It's all about state testing and funding. Our kid will be lost in college except for what WE have taught him at home.Parent Review3y ago19 Reviews - Judy Miller Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal is always encouraging the kids, is very personable, and has set a great tone for the school. The staff in the front office are great too. Teachers work hard, seem caring and have good command of the classroom. We really appreciate that character class is part of the curriculum and it's more than just academics here. There are extracurricular activities like math pentathlon, robotics and many fun family events planned throughout the year. I do wish tv was used less in the classroom, and would like to see more student-led, problem-based and hands-on learning. These are the only reasons I did not give 5 stars.Parent Review9y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 1397 E Seeton Rd.
