My daughter has been with the district since 4th grade she’s now going into the 9th. The elementary was great. Middle school is terrible. Principal had no control over the building the environment is terrible most Teachers and staff are sorry. My daughter got multiple write ups and not one time was I told or made aware of them and neither was she. She’s school of choice and now she’s going into high school and can’t get accepted. I believe in mt heart they do this on purpose to ruin kids records. Why would you want a kid to misbehave? Why when I go to conferences not one teacher made me aware of what was going on, nothing on her report card, no notes sent home. When I discussed this with the principal she stated they don’t involve parents unless action is taken and she has minor violations. So how is a kid suppose to learn from behavior and how is a parent supposed to correct and discipline if no communication is not being done? They also pick and choose who they want to discipline and who they want to let slide. The vice principle is highly unprofessional and disrespectful. I actually heard her yelling and chewing kids out when she thought she hung the phone up and didn’t. I called her back and she was disrespectful and dismissive. Asking the kids if they are stupid? Yelling in a mean tone and threatening. Once I threatened to tell the superintendent then my kid got wrote up for having her phone out during class and suspended for 1 day a week before school was out. She’s evil and doesn’t need to be around anyone’s children. Make sure you are checking on your kids and communicating because they won’t. regardless if she has the I reports or not those were her actions but the teachers and staff are just as responsible to make kids accountable for actions and not communicating to the parents or the kids about discipline is irresponsible and ignorant. Because i guarantee had I known she would of not got one more right up again. Of a kid thinks they are getting away with something with no consequences they keep doing it. Because they don’t care. If she continues to get denied at schools I’ll be involving my lawyer. In my eyes if the write ups weren’t important enough to send to me and let me know then they should not be Important enough to send to potential schools. And their reviews are taken off and on Facebook. I wonder why!

Ms Augenstein is a fantastic kindergarten teacher. My daughter is excited to go to school and is doing great. My only concern is the fact not enough parents in the area are involved in their children's education which does make it hard in the teachers.

To start off the school is gross i used to go to the district my whole life and in each school i seen a roach of some sort and its a place that condoned violent behavior the teachers would let students fight for 30 seconds before they intervened I swear I once asked about it to a teacher I was very close with he said it’s interesting to them and the amount of people skipping is crazy there was students walking right out the school in the middle of the day people hot boxing the bathroom every day it was smoke smell of thc wax and the amount of people vapeing there is crazy it basically smells like sour fruit everywhere and the lunch time there was only one bathroom open at a time and the whole bathroom was filled shoulder to shoulder and the someone started fighting another kid for no apparent reason idk the beef but that wasn’t far again not a safe place keep your kids away from this school at all costs
