Description

The Rensing Center has a property available for rent. This property, known as "The Pottery" was formerly used as a residence and pottery studio. It has recently been used to house artists enrolled in the Rensing Center's artist residency program. We are now seeking a like-minded tenant for a longer lease period. The pottery utilizes passive solar architecture and sits on a south-facing slope on our 27 acre campus. It is available unfurnished for $600 per month or furnished for $700. Washer/dryer and refrigerator are included. The pottery sits between a large, fenced-in back yard and the upper garden which includes four, 40 square foot raised beds. There is a large, covered porch area as well as brick patio. Our waterfall trail begins in the pottery drive which leads hikers on a 15 minute walk to a series of cascades totaling 80 vertical feet on a small creek. Located just south of the NC/SC border, the house is within 2.5 hours of Atlanta and Charlotte, 1.5 hours from Asheville, an less than an hour from Brevard and Greenville.
