"Don’t live here… just passing through and I know the neighborhood. Not much community here at all if any"
  • Trulia User
"great place LGBTQIA friendly lots of good dining and night life. gyms are good and pet friendly area not far from broadway shows"
  • Trulia User
"The dog parks are amazing. Plenty of other friendly dogs. You will run into a lot of dog walkers that walk dogs from all over the neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"Buses are closer if you live closer to the water. It’s excellent range to the HH parkway and Times Square is right next door. "
  • Trulia User
"Nice and convenient I been here 5 years . Shopping all on the streets. Traffic to everywhere. All kind of food and all kind of culture. "
  • Ms. N. W.
"This is a highly congested area. Midtown, NYC. Towards Hudson Yards you begin to see younger families. There is the Hugh Line. Just a very congested area. "
  • Melissa S. F.
"It’s not really a neighborhood to live in unless you’re visiting from out of town or go to one of the fashion schools around the way. "
  • Monica G.
"There's no really good supermarket in the area. It's very commercial. The area caters more to business workers than families so there isn't great restaurants, but there are good bars. "
  • Trulia User
"I don’t know of any community events in this area. It’s mostly businesses and public transportation. "
  • Errolwindham
"Very busy part of the city. Just be prepared for much hustle and bustle. It wouldn’t be ideal for raising a family. Needs to have more spaces with h greenery. "
  • Richard R
"There are some good schools nearby. For outdoor space, the closest is probably Madison square park on 25th Street. The NY public library is also great for kids. "
  • Jaclynpwilliams
"No parks in the immediate area. Very busy streets with lots of crowds of tourists or commuters so i imagine it would be difficult to walk a dog "
  • vincent46882
"Dogs would like living where I’m at now, because for one thing most of the houses here all have huge back yard space. There lots of space if walking one or more of your dogs since we don’t have restrictive sidewalks, just wide opened paved space where ever you’d go in the morning or usually sunny afternoons. "
  • Jaclynpwilliams
"It’s very loud but close to transportation hubs, entertainment venues, and food options. Mixture of tourists and locals "
  • Jaclynpwilliams
"Close to major transportation hubs (penn station, port authority). Lots of food and entertainment options in the area"
  • Cesar V.
"I'm living here currently. Good location but the tourist traffic gets old quick. Really close to Subway station."
  • Bryna k.
"Lots of walkable stores and restaurants, Chelsea Market, and close to the High Line Park. Good public transport too."
  • Susan R.
"I have an apartment that I use occasionally in this area. Love the area for the most part and would recommend living here. "
  • J t.
"I actually live in Brooklyn, I work in this busy area. Ideally would like a place similar to this area but in Brooklyn. "
  • RandyBnyc
"Live at Madison & 38th. Walk to Grand Central or Macys / Penn Station"
