My daughter really enjoys CTMS...her classes, teachers, as well as school activities. The principal is usually the first person students see when they arrive at school as she directs the traffic every morning. Students also have the opportunity to participate in rigorous classes and many teachers provide tutoring for those students who need it.

Please avoid this school if you care about your child and their well being. Admin, Sheila Mendoza, is only their for her own benefit. She does not care about the students or staff. It’s a shame she is still a principal there.

Yuma High teachers generally support the students some more than others (Brown, Gastelum, and Lozano are the best). Some teachers need to be on their way out and it shows. CTE programs are a need to participate in. The culinary class is amazing. I would take it all 4 years if possible. I would recommend coming to Yuma High because of the class sizes and athletic support the students receive.
