I love this school, they are very supportive and the cheer team is amazing.

My daughter goes here and it is a great little school. The principal, teachers and staff really care. The principal knows all of the kids and the teachers really go above and beyond for their students. We love Tansey Elementary!

Hello. I am a Morton Alumni currently in their freshman year of highschool. I would recommend that families steer clear of this school for their own good. For starters, the kids run the school here and teachers are constantly getting bullied out of their jobs. The teacher shortage was very apparent in all three of my years here. Please also note that the teachers here are 50/50. Some of them are incredibly sweet and understanding of the kids, but others genuinely should not be able to work with children. A lot of the admin are also oblivious to whatever happens around the school. One of the vice principals is very harsh with the students and often yells or gives out Saturday detentions. I would also like to say that if you are a parent of a special education child, do not send your kid here. The bullying, especially bullying of special needs children, is very bad here, and the admin let kids get picked on and harassed daily with seemingly no punishments for the aggressor. The school also had around 800 kids and only two security guards there total, though it might have changed during the 2025-2026 school year. I would now like to shout out some of my favorite teachers from the school. If your child has Mrs. Carvalho for seventh grade English, or Mr. Carvalho for eighth grade math, they are in good hands. I learned a lot in their classes and they are very understanding to students. I'm going to end this review by saying that my time at this school had good parts, such as friendships and the eighth grade field trip, but I feel as though the bad outweighs the good. Please reconsider sending your child to Morton.
