"You can often see tweakers walking around. Sometimes the tweakers kids can also be seen walking around"

"Every weekend in the summertime, the train station runs. Forth of July Block party. Easter egg hunt for kids at easter. Halloween trick or treat street & parade. Christmas lights down town look pretty. "
  • Shylo B.
"Jamestown has a lot of history. A small gold rush mining town just minutes from historical state park, Columbia California. Jamestown also has the old steam engines and train cars and give rides on the weekends for a reasonable price. The kids love it!"

"I grew up in Jamestown so I'm very comfortable and I love living close to the mountains without the snow."
  • UBCCarpenter
"Great vacation area. Lake Tulloch, beautiful, amazing fishing. Only one of three public lakes in California you can build a house on. Two hours by car to San Francisco (off comute hours), two hours to Yosemite."
  • Olivia C. S.
"Jamestown is one of the most charming and tidiest towns in California. It is super friendly with wonderful historic houses, a stunning Old West main street, great cafe's and antique shops, restaurants and hotels as well as the joys of the Steam engine rides and museum at the Railroad State Park which every child and adult adores. The local school and churches make it very family orientated too and everyone is welcoming and friendly. This is one of the gems of California and Gold Country. "
  • Richard B.
"This property is an excellent candidate for Section 8 housing. Plus there is a two car garage, two storage units (Large). Lawn care is included, Water is included in the rent. This area is ideal for those working and commuting to the Prison, Modesto, Stockton, and surrounding area. Very close to the hospital, senior center, and all shopping, complete with resturants. Plenty of room for Boat & RV parking. Fishing is available at New Melones, about 20 easy minutes away. This area is very accessable to Pinecrest Lake, Strawberry, and the surrounding area's."
