"I have lived in Jackson county for thirteen years my children has went to school and graduated from the schos as well my kids work at local factories and make a decent living there is a few parks and also has a skate park as well and a local pool for summer swimming we have a really good sports team here one of my kids was very involved all thru school we also have a great before and after school programs"
  • Shianna K.
"it is best to live on the "outskirts of town" the "middle of town" has cheaper housing but there is a reason ... there are a lot of drugs and such... I live behind the high school, it is very nice. "
  • Akuntz0604
"I've lived here basically all my life and it is totally different now. Cant trust nobody and people being shot up the street. its ridiculous. schools are amazing but people here are ridiculous. "
  • Victoria.lynn.smith76
"I’m w new mother so I’m not completely sure what other mothers should know about this neighborhood. I feel like it is pretty decent. "
  • Jennifer K.
"There are skunks everywhere out here and the fleas get pretty bad at the end of summer other than that the only down side is there aren't any side walks so if it's hot out you can't walk your dog till after dark because the pavement can burn the pads on the bottom of their paws."
  • Chris F.
"around the corner sits a elementary school and a small park. there are about six or seven apartment complexes in area. We are about a five to ten minute walk to the main st."
  • Shannon C.
"My neighbor is usually a good area of town to live however a Few of the neighbors need to be weeded out because of known drug activities."
  • Judy M.
"This home is close to Jackson, St Ambrose, Lutheran, elementary schools and the sixth grade center. A short bike ride or a nice walk to the city park where baseball and volleyball games are held for all to enjoy. A neighborhood worth looking into!"
  • Ben
"Seymour is a very friendly town and a great community to raise kids"
