"Great town to walk dogs around, sidewalks are usually kept well but every now and then someone parks their car on it. Only problem is there are many strays so sometimes you have to avoid a dog that isn't leashed "
  • MiaBenson
"Jackson County is the only TN county that has Golden Eagles. When I lived there, I would see them as a group in the early morning then they would pair off and fly away only to come together as a group in the late afternoon. We had the synchronizing lightning bugs too. The locals are friendly and the high school band was so well trained that they had the opportunity to participate in one of the Christmas/New Year's parades in New York. The mountain views are beautiful. The shops in downtown Gainesboro offer a variety of items for shoppers. Overall, it is a quiet, respectable place to live."

"Great spot to bring kids and to get away from nagging wife for some quality fishing."

"I live 2 miles down the road and must say this is a beautiful site on one of the most pristine river's in TN."
  • Ron B.
"Centrally located to Livingsston, Gainesboro, Cookeville. Easy access to Standing Stone State Park and Dale Hollow Lake."
