7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, one of the most infuriating things that can happen, is when someone or something holds your child's development back.This is exactly what happened to my son. Me and my family moved back to the United States and enrolled him at Rosemont. During enrollment, we told the administrators we are buying a house close to the end of the school year. Their response was very accepting, further letting us know that there is nothing to worry about.As we moved, the school kicked my son out, with only 7 weeks left in the school year. We pleaded with the school not to do this, because my son's transition to an American school system was very difficult and he had grown comfortable with his teachers. The response from the principle was "This is business, if you want him to continue going to school here, you'll have to pay $2000". Her statement does not carry well at all with school's motto "With Children Our Focus". Of all my peers, family, co-workers, and even administrators in other districts, they all agreed this should not have been handled this way.Parent Review5y ago - Long Cane Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a graduate of this school. I was given down the road for my mental health. I also have a parent who works in this school. The staff is friendly but not understanding; it always depends on the department. There can be lots of bullying, especially if you are in higher classes. There are tons of people who care and tons that don't. I know safety has improved since I was there due to new leadership, but I seldom felt safe when I was there. This was due to the fact I felt trapped and unwelcome when I was there. Especially since I had a parent on staff.Other Review1y ago
