I went to this school last year. I transferred half way through that year because of how utterly miserable I was. It’s just a bunch of entitled rich girls who discriminate against anyone slightly different than them. I felt so self conscious from them and I still haven’t recovered. If you think you won’t fit in here, please, don’t go. The teachers aren’t much better either. I was a straight A student and they still didn’t really like me. Mainly because I was quiet and kept to myself. I also really struggled with chronic absenteeism due to mental health and instead of helping and encouraging me, they pushed me to leave. They really discriminate over there. They zoned out the trailer parks close to the school because they were worried they would “mess up.” I find that extremely rude because now those kids don’t have an equal chance, simply because of what they were born into. But, do gotta say, I learned a lot there. The education there is really good. I was gifted student and they really helped me excel. I also made a really good group of friends, regardless of me not fitting in. I still talk to them on a daily basis. But overall, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. They don’t give people and equal chance there. They only want the rich kids. If you’re rich, white, and popular, then maybe consider going.

As a working parent it was great having my child at Highland Park. He was challenged and finished the 2nd grade with score beyond 3rd. I know he is prepared. Additionally the extended day program is a great way for students to continue to learn and interact after school. The students love it and do not want to leave making it almost guilt free if you can't be there at 2:45 to pick up your child. Highland Park is a great place to learn.

My two sons graduated MSHS. They both enjoyed their time there and excelled academically.

They don't care about the children.They let their so-called power in the school go to their head.Suggestion put you children in a safer school. Your will not learn nothing

Next to DisneyWorld, this is the happiest place on earth! They love and nurture children here. The teachers are wonderful and there is a great balance of learning/playing. The principal is awesome and Mrs. Bonnie is the best!! I wish my son could stay here forever!
