Description

This beautiful & unique 3 bedroom home is close to shopping, freeways (880 & 780), public transit and schools.

It includes central heat and a gas fireplace. There's new paint throughout, dual pane windows and an enormous fenced backyard, a walled patio and a large storage shed.

The kitchen has granite counters and new luxury vinyl plank waterproof flooring. The bathroom also has luxury vinyl plank waterproof flooring and a granite shower surround. The rest of the house, living room, dining room, big bedroom (converted garage) and two smaller bedrooms all have freshly refinished REAL Oak hardwood floors. There's also a laundry room/closet in the large bedroom for a washer and electric dryer.

Out back there is a walled / enclosed patio with a storage shed. The shed has lights and electricity. We just added a picket fence around the front yard (Photo updated)

Now the fun / really unique part. Beyond the patio is an enormous fenced yard 50' x 100'. The yard is a work in progress. While clearing / cleaning it up, we discovered there are numerous concrete paths and pads running throughout the area. We're not sure of their original purpose and we're still digging them up and exposing them. There is also a water well with a non-functioning pump that is feeding buried piping. Since the house is ready and the back yard work is open ended (at best) we're renting the property with the yard as-is. As time permits we will return to continue the work or the renter can help as well. Think of it as a mystery / adventure.

Rent is $2,450 per month plus deposit of $2,450.

Cats only are OK.
NO Dogs.

Local, face-to-face renters ONLY.

Owner pays sewer. Renter pays PG&E, Water & Garbage.

"Just the cluttered of cars it’s hard to find parking sometimes. Some routines of cars roaring their cars or doing doughnuts burning rubber. "
  • Sosarudy707
"There’s nothing unique in Vallejo but the crime and homelessness, encampments and no police response "
  • 09farther.weals
"we have great access to all the freeways as well as an excellent transit center with carpooling. The ferry building is less than 10 minutes away."
  • Trulia User
"Dogs owners walk their dogs on a leash. Quiet mornings and nights. Living with hills are great for short or long walks for dogs of all breads"
  • Apple.perez05
"My neighborhood is pretty quiet for the most part. The neighbors are nice & friendly. Schools nearby & also the Vallejo Ferry building "
  • Apple.perez05
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for almost 2yrs. Everyone pretty much keep to themselves & folks are really friendly. "
  • Apple.perez05
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood a little over a year & I love it. It’s quiet, the neighbors are friendly & there is always parking."
  • Merisa R.
"There are a lot of dogs in this neighborhood, and the school has a large field to take your dog. My only issue with this area is there are quite a few drug dealers and users that will harass you if you take your dog to said field. Really the next option is going to Curtola (5 minute drive, 30 minute walk). So, hopefully you have a car so you can find a dog park that is a 20 minute drive away. "
  • Hbagulho
"I love living here, I just wish that dog owners picked up after their wonderful pets. I love the farmers market. The climate is near perfect year round. Crime is minimal or none at all. "
  • Msgant76
"The commute to downtown is easy. We have a neighborhood watch, and we all look out for one another which makes this community great."
  • Michelle Ferry
"Love my neighborhood and all of its amenities. Farmers market. Ferry to San Francisco, theatre, weather, neighbors. "
  • Brigettelowe
"This place is a dump. A homeless camp is always popping up and thriving two streets away. You call the city, it takes three months to get the camp cleaned up then two weeks later, it’s back in full swing. The potholes on my street messed up my alignment in my car. They keep getting bigger and bigger. The school down the street is full of trash from the students and I’ve found discarded drug paraphernalia such as needles, drug baggies, and crack pipes. "
  • Debra C.
"They can walk there dogs in peace. And feel safe while doing it. Smell the roses. Not see people hanging outside. "
  • Brigette L.
"Freeway is nearby. I commute to San Ramon at off hours and it takes me 33 minutes one way. I want to move out of the Bay Area ASAP. "
  • Debra C.
"I love any area that love kids and don’t mean kids that playing out and that quite and don’t make a lot of noise "
  • rkaplan
"Dogs are welcome. Wish everyone would pick up the poop! Not everyone is careful with their dogs but most are."
  • Lawanda T.
"My commute consist of plenty of ways to San Francisco, with I-80 very close, the ferry less than a mile and the 80 bus at the new Curtola Park N Ride Hub to El Cerrito Del Norte Bart "
  • CAE
"There is a park nearby but it is frequently visited by some less desirable people. Drugs being used and/or exchanged. If I were a young family I wouldn’t let my kids play there (empty syringes etc.). "
  • Oren N. R.
"I’ve lived in this area for three years. Folks are friendly and say hi to one another. The houses were all built in the 1920s, so the neighborhood has some great charm and lots of character."
  • Navin S.
"good central location for Northern california. close to the ferry. close to the bus terminal. one hour from sacramento or san jose. 30 miles from san francisco."
  • Robinsonj786

  • Sarah A. B.
"there are some really good neighborhoods in Vallejo, but there are also some strung out, questionable people roaming the streets. I have a big dog, so I feel ok walking around the historic district. my neighbors are great and we look out for each other."
  • Amandadallison
"Mad Hatter Parade; Saturday coffee at Moschettis; Farmers Market; Obtanium Works; Mare Island Museum and Brewing Company"
  • Atomicpoweredrobot
"I have to drive to my job. I can walk some places in my neighborhood and also ride my bike. I wish there were more restaurants in different sections of town. The people in Vallejo are very nice. It’s a working class/artistic town."
