"There are a lot of dog walkers and parks nearby for dogs to run around and play in. Lots of quiet tree-lined streets too. "
  • Vera Isen
"The commute is fine early in the morning on 72, around 6:30-7, if you’re heading east. It also gets a little busy/congested after 7:30am. The commute to Elgin isn’t too bad at around 5-ish on 31. The drivers here are very respectful and follows the speed limit on 72. There’s always cops on that road btw. "
  • Kathyshangraw17
"Fireworks, parade, thirsty Thursdays, September fest, VFW queen of hearts raffle, live music in the summer "
  • Cornercandy
"September Heritage Fest. Great festival includes music, craft show, car show, fireworks. December we have Dickens in Dundee event"
  • Renealsmith
"My commute is less than 15 minutes. The streets are only moderately busy in the morning and late afternoon. The commute takes me East via Main Street. "

"I would not like to own in this neighborhood because I can't afford it and don't know when I will be able to and also it's too expensive and this neighborhood I would like to rent and move to Elgin. Do not know when I have a family players and I'm single but I would not want to live in fear too many bills and to larger properties too expensive"
  • Alexsrajer.as
"Raised a family here a business in town. Great place to live. Plenty of great restaurants nice parks. Beautiful Riverfront."
  • Cornercandy
"My personal commute is only 5 blocks. However Rte 72 gets very busy between 5-6pm. A new bridge LongMeadow Parkway is currently under construction and this should ease traffic on Rte 72"
  • Anton19115
"Remote town with historic charm!! I’ve lived here for 7 years and have loved every minute! From unique rustic and authentic restaurants, to a great view of the fox river! All the amenities are within a two minute drive and extremely accessible. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for most of my life. It's a unique, tight-knit community with a small town feel. Very close to shopping and the highway. It's the neighborhood where everyone knows their neighbors and everyone looks out for each other. It's a part of a wonderful school district. There's always something to do!!"
  • Angelina D.
"It’s near a historical downtown Area with a riverfront. There’s a mall and many local businesses in the area as well. It’s about a half an hour away from Schaumburg if you work out there and you can take 72/Higgins all the way or I-90. Nature lovers can go on the prairie trail. It’s a nice place "
  • Lindaelizabethannsneed
"I live in the neighborhood only for a year it's nice but I don't like the apartment I live in. I will tell my friends and family about it."
