This school, and district, at best is poor. I have had children in this school for 2 years and have had issues with teachers and staff since the very start. Bullying is not dealt with effectively, and one oof the 2nd grade teachers is TERRIBLE and has no business teaching children of this age. And when my concerns are dismissed by the prinicipal, you know that they are not there to advocate for their students.

"Not fast enough and neighborhood is roughed up. Back in the days it was nice but after Katrina it started getting really bad. You have to alway watch your back. "

"It’s not a very safe area. There are always pan handlers, some aggressive. Stay dogs always around and I don’t see kids playing around outside hardly ever. "
