About this House

Beautiful recently constructed lakefront home in the new Watermark subdivision located in the heart of Mt Pleasant. This home has many wonderful features and accoutrements. As you approach the home you will appreciate the aesthetics of the double front porch and the detached stucco garage with a FROG that is equipped with a full bath, would be excellent as a bedroom, home office or guest quarters, which is accessible by an upper balcony terrace. As you enter the home you will notice the fine Australian Cypress hardwoods and the wrought-iron stairway with the same cypress wood handrail. There is large living room and dining room divided by an open 2 sided fireplace that is suitable for a flat-screen TV on either side. The open kitchen boasts plentiful cabinets and counter space, beautiful granite adorns the counter tops, including those in all the bathrooms and the laundry room. The bathrooms and laundry also have Travertine tiles. All appliances are stainless steel Jenn Air and include a 6 gas burner stove. The breakfast bar adjoins the eat-in kitchen where you can enjoy the serene view of the lake while eating your morning meal. This area as well as the downstairs master also opens onto the back patio bordering on the lake. Upstairs are 3 inviting bedrooms (not including the FROG). The entire home has a custom trim package and the 10' first floor ceiling as well as the 9' ceiling upstairs lend to the openness of the floor plan. This comunity is centrally located and will be adjacent to the new Central Mount Pleasant development. I was a former student at this school, I only went there for fifth grade because I had just moved to Mount Pleasant. I came from another school that really valued education and you own personal needs. When I got to JBE the math work in particular was stuff I had already learned and understood from fourth grade. I was never challenged in the classes that I took and sometimes I was even asked to teach it to other students there. On my MAP testing that year I scored lower than what I got on fourth grade. I also have a younger sister who goes to the school and she isn’t understanding things that she should already know at her age. I know people are different and some people excel in different things but even my parents believe that there isn’t enough not only learning but understanding of knowledge at this school. JBE isn’t all a bad school because they teach people leadership skills and have lots of school spirt but their teaching skills, methods, and curriculum just aren’t good enough for kids that age. I would not recommend if you want your child or children to flourish academically.
