  • Trulia User
"there are many families. the kalamazoo promise helps but kzoo schools are not the greatest. we actually have our kid do school of choice a d she goes to portage. "
  • Rhligia
"Very calm, friendly place. Easy access to I-94, quick commute to Kalamazoo (biggest city in the area, all the conveniences you can wish around), and to Battle Creek. Several multinational companies around, with several job opportunities. We just love our neighborhood."
  • David K.
"I did not live here per se, I actually lived in Galesburg but frequented Comstock. Nice people, quiet area. Close to necessities but far enough away to allow privacy."
  • Rob M.
"None. The area is a little rundown, my area is nice but not in Comstock proper. The Comstock area itself is terribly out dated with few resources. "
  • Stevevolenski1
"I really do love the neighborhood I am surrounded by good people very quiet peaceful everyone gets along well with one another I could see myself growing old here "
  • William

  • Emily H.
"There are a lot of parks and paths to walk however getting to them can be a chore. You have to cross a lot of busy roads. "
  • Jess r. r.
" small and quiet, everyone knows everyone type of home with a caring attitude. my immediate neighbors are extremely caring. "
  • Madison B.
"Nothing honestly. I don’t find anything truly interesting here but I do enjoy the area most areas are nice to be in others are sketchy but I’ve lived here all my life and wouldn’t complain."
  • baronrae2
"This area is close to stores, w/in 2 miles of all Comstock schools, bus stop close to each main intersection."
  • Chris L.
"This neighborhood is quintessential. Many families with school aged children and younger, varied home designs, spacious properties, and Rolling meadows is closed to through traffic allowing for pleasurable, undisrupted walks as well as safe streets for kids. Perfect for retirees, too. Gull Lake schools has top a top notch educational system as evidenced by academic performance indicators. Educational facilities are kept in great condition. Although property values are strong, the area boasts some of the area's lowest property tax rates. Bonds are reasonable and supported by the community, which has boosted educational opportunities for Gull Lake youth. With nearby public parks, trails, libraries, and shopping centers in a 10 minute radius, leisure options are plentiful. Easy access to highways, between BC and Kzoo, and not far from large shopping centers give a home town feel with access to mid-sized city (Kalamazoo/Battle Creek/Grand Rapids) amenities and venues.
