"Your kids are safe in the schools here but I’m not sure the extent or opportunities of a larger populated area schools are available here. It’s small country town life here. Not much for children to do outside of school. "

"You need a car to access Bakersfield for Physican Specialits and large stores like Cosco, Walmart and Home Depot. Wofford Heights is a vacation community with lake/river/ skiing."

"I’ve lived here for most of my life, I don’t live in the town part, I live at the very top of the mountain that looks over the town. It is not the nicest place, it has its quirks, strange people, and run down building. It’s fairly small, and the town next to it is much prettier, Kernville. Wofford Heights is more a pass by town between the two more successful towns. But if you need a cheap place with a lake view, it’s the place for you."

"Nothings unique about my neighborhood unless you wanna count a whole town being full of tweekers. We don’t feel safe here, the people and kids are mean. I wouldn’t want any good person living here."
