About this House

Ready to downsize? Need a small home? Like new, pristine home owned by us, an older couple (original owner) has 2272 sq.ft. living space with 192 added for screened in porch. Perfect for small family, in-laws, grandparents, etc. Tons of features like open floor plan with huge great room that accommodates both formal and casual seating. There's a sunroom off kitchen, and sitting room off master bedroom.

The eat-in kitchen has 42" cabinets, built-in hutch, buffet type counter space, sit-at bar counter, and roll-out shelving - homeowner's dream. And two pantries, brand new washer and dryer (email for picture), along with counter-depth refrigerator.

Ten foot ceilings in great room, dining room, and kitchen. Sun room and bedroom 2 have cathedral ceilings.

A favorite is the 12' foot by 16' foot screened-in porch (few in the neighborhood) with fan and view of the woods, patio, sun screened by trees from the west and with storage underneath. We use it from April through November and more.

Other amenities: no stairs to walk up, security system, sprinkler system, tankless water heater and so much more.

Garage (462 sq.ft.) has lots of shelving, storage, and work bench.

The yard is low maintenance with 4-square garden area and room for swing set.

Graystone development has access to Eagle Harbor pool and recreation center with low homeowners' association fee. It also has Food Lion close by with Trader Joe's and Costco just 12 miles away. Isle of Wight has lowest property taxes in the area. Fourteen miles to Langley Air Force Base (or 20 minutes).

Our home is a gem and we move only to be close to children and grandchildren.
