7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI disagree with the comment that Clackamas High School doesn’t have dual enrollment. I had two kids that graduated from Clackamas and both ended up with college credits from Portland States and Clackamas Community College. Some of the classes at the time were also AP classes. Taking and passing the AP exams were important if they were going to go to a highly selective college but most colleges did accept the PSU and CCC credits with out the AP exams. They did graduate a few years ago but I did notice in other reviews that students were still receiving the college credits.Parent Review3y ago8 Reviews - Rock Creek Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are very dedicated at Rock Creek. The school has several channels of communication for parents, though it can be difficult managing several apps (but that’s a personal growth need). There are several sports and one of the few orchestra programs available in the state. Their health programs are very science-based, and our family appreciates that cultural influences and gender identities are covered, as well as kids learning about how all bodies work—the curriculum is shared in detail ahead of time and is not politicized in any way. Respect for diversity is taught and we are grateful for the diverse population of students, so our children grow in an environment where they can implement those concepts. Thank you for all you do for our students! (1 has moved to HS and 2 currently enrolled)Parent Review11mo ago10 Reviews - Spring Mountain Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids going to this school. We just got #2 out of all elementary’s in greater Portland area for all metrics. This has been a great elementary and I’m surprised the score isn’t an 8 or better!?!? We test at a 9 but somehow progress at 2… something is wrong with the scoring. Almost laughed when I read the differences. We came from Sherwood… look at their score… I’d say this elementary is better just saying.Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 13129 SE Terra Cascade Loop.

"There are not many sidewalks and people drive fast on the roads so you are very limited where it is safe for you to walk your dog."

"There are coyotes out at night so one must be observant when walking after dark in certain areas of Happy Valley. That’s what happens when greed takes over, wild animals get displaced."

"There’s quite a few places to shop all around for both kids and adults up and down 82nd. There is a really cool rec center for kids more like a swim center down by the old Toys “R” Us and Clackamas town Center. There’s also some pretty good schools around here and some pretty nice parks if you look around."

"I work with a Management team that supervises two business so my commute is to Milwaukee, Oregon 6 days a week and once weekly to three miles East of Sandy, Oregon. The trip to Sandy is an hour out and an hour back. The trip to Milwaukie is 1/2 hour each way. There is probably bus service between Clackamas to Milwaukee but it would take transfers. I am often caring bookwork and a laptop. There is bus service to Sandy Oregon, but would require several transfers from my location and service does not go beyond Sandy Oregon."
