"I love this neighborhood! Itโ€™s quiet, safe, and conveniently located near all kinds of shops and restaurants. Itโ€™s one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, according to one of my elderly neighbors, and the houses are charming. Iโ€™ve been in ABQ for nearly 20 years, and Iโ€™ve lived all over the city, and this has been my favorite so far. "
  • Trulia User
    "Safe for downtown. "
  • Debi
"Iโ€™ve lived here a little over three years. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and the houses are decorated for the holidays. Iโ€™m not aware of any crimes in our immediate area and I listen to a scanner. Everything we need is within walking distance, and my kiddos take walks. We utilize local businesses from the pharmacy to the veterinarian across the street. "
  • Trulia User
"public safety, traffic safety, a lot of foot traffic in this town, yes bot the safest place. "
  • 5q5ckrztvd
"Lots of excellent parks in the neighborhood. We go there instead of walking the streets"
  • Raya Ghattas
"Itโ€™s a great neighborhood to walk your dogs! "
  • Emily Quimbay Lunardi
"Growers markets and rail yard markets during summer. Off season markets and local coffee shops with friendly inviting people. "
  • Mike A.
"I used to love the valley , itโ€™s over priced now , too many cheap type properties on 4th getting build."
  • Marco Beleno
"I think itโ€™s safe and it feels so neighborly. easy access to everything especially for the job that iโ€™m doing. "
  • Judith Cristal Perez
"Pretty accessible to main roads. Biking lanes plenty but sketchy due to zooming drivers. Lots of ppl walking dogs. There are some rough pockets unsafe for walking at night "
  • K5mbnpdhwr
"Public transit is limited to busses. I donโ€™t recommend taking the bus for safety reasons. For most trips you will need to drive a vehicle. "
  • Judith Cristal Perez
"Nob Hill has beautiful homes and many trees/parks dotted throughout. Great for trick or treating, jogging, walking."
  • Lacholaburquena505
"Ive lived in this nierborhood a couple months and i can honestly say the nierborhood is nice and welcoming, everyone minds there own and look out for eachother its gated community so i love that fact, its really nice, there is never alot of traffic in our out , nice and quiet little barrio "
  • Demitrii Saavedra
"It is a friendly neighborhood it has a couple park nearby and food place to go eat which make it a great place"
  • Pablo Garcia
"Like being close to the university downtown the airport, any hospital in the area basically in the overall convenience of the neighborhood"
  • Derrick Klein
"Quiet and peaceful with great views minutes from commute routes great shopping huge variety of restaurants hospitals nearby"
  • Patricia Carpenter
"My section of town is very family, friendly and safe. Thereโ€™s very little traffic on our streets during the day."
  • Quinn Westlake
"idk dont have kids never will. but let ur kids experiment with their hair, they're gonna do dugs either way to support them thru it and let them know ur gonna be there for them no matter what but dont say that if you dont mean it. if ur love for ur child is conditional then could it truly be love?"
  • fotodarrell
"Lots of dog owners, lots of walking paths, nice parks, poop bags and drops everywhere. Close to open space as well. "
  • Modern Mopar Mayhem
"You certainly need a vehicle to get around Albuquerque. Itโ€™s a shame that thereโ€™s only two major highways to get you anywhere in the city. Leads to lots of congestion."
  • Leah J Smith
"This neighborhood has pockets of nice homes surrounded by significant crime. It is not safe to walk after dark or in the early morning. "
  • Trulia User
"Weโ€™ve lived in the NE heights for over 30 years and know all of our surrounding neighbors by name and remain in this specific neighborhood because of its location and safety"
  • Celia Granger
"No but there is a park and people gather there I wish we could have some food trucks that would make it better for the community "
  • Giorgio D DelGrosso
"My commute is super simple. I love living on San Mateo Blvd. I live right on the street and it never gets too loud for me at any time during the day because of the adobe styled architecture and structural integrity "
  • Javiercarbajal91
"Need more cleaning but looks safe and everybody itโ€™s nice we can put some gate to make it private but Iโ€™m ok "
  • Paul White
"Quiet neighborhood with walking trails and beautiful views. Only negative is that commuters use the through roads as a short cut and run stop signs."
  • Yamile Martinez
"The neighborhood association is ramping up, creating a better environment. I like that itโ€™s a quiet neighborhood. "
  • Meiko
"Easy commute when taking routes in accordance with traffic. This area is one of the easiest to navigate with or without traffic. "
  • Mercedes Benavides
"4th of July we have block parties . The whole neighborhood cooks, sets up chairs outside and watches fire works together. "
  • Debra Benton
"I am retired so I have no commute but when I did work, it was about 25 minutes. I worked in downtown and it was easily assessable."
  • Trulia User
"Nice neighborhood with friendly people and good walking/ running trails. I always feel very safe and the neighbors always look out for each other. "
  • Nicole Chevallier
"Very peaceful and quick for the most part and pretty easy to get around on the transit here .. the people that are without could be a little scary sometimes but who wouldnโ€™t they have endured so much "
  • Tere Montao
"Sometimes dog owners donโ€™t pick up their dogs mess for whatever reason. Seeing dog droppings isnโ€™t common but unfortunately thereโ€™s those few bad lemons that just leave their dogs business behind. Unfortunately another issue is the dog barking that happens often with owners ignoring them all day. Again, not often that it happens but it does. "
  • Trulia User
"Close dog parks and really dog friendly people. Lots of good walking areas and quite streets. Everyone picks up after dogs for the most part."
  • Trulia User
"The neighborhood just feels safe. you see kids playing out side riding bikes and just having fun being kids."
  • Trulia User
"The stores here are all closing. Business is bad in this area. The homelessness in this area is at a all time high. "
  • Melica P.
"Dog owners would love the many lovely places there are to walk a dog. They would not like my Chihuahua who is the only unfriendly neighbor in the area."
  • Trulia User
"free tree giveaway to plant from the city at the community center neighborhood watch is on it...everyone watches out for eachother"
  • Trulia User
"I'm not sure exactly, I know there is a community center with a gym and other type classes that can be taken."
  • Trulia User
"Our neighborhood is very pet friendly. When a neighbor loses their pet, many neighbors help search, pass out flyers and comfort the owners of their lost pet."
