  • Lumierefdtn
"No traffic commutes except summertime weekends. Most people work atleast a 20-30 min away from home in this area. "
  • Lumierefdtn
"On Lake Erie with beaches & parks plenty of things to do for water lovers. Neighborly community that is fairly safe & decent education compared to nearby. Very quiet community except for summertime. "
  • Jim W.
"Lots of nice areas and nice people. This is a place tourist visit a lot, but still has a nice neighborly community. Also, for a tourist area, lots of places to eat, but without outrageous prices. "
  • Lumierefdtn
"There are many families in the area & I think it's a great place to grow up with the water & activities offered."
  • Lumierefdtn
"Tons of festivals, concerts, fairs, activities in Port Clinton & around lake. Friendly & laid back. Many tourist spots & things to do. Pet friendly almost everywhere."
  • Linda M.
"We have neighborhood potluck every September. Close vicinity to the lake and beach areas. Very quiet and well kept areas "
  • Paige C.
"I have lived in this neighborhood for about a year now and everyone looks out for each other. Most of our neighbors are elderly but we have a equal part of younger neighbors with kids also. We have a beautiful park within walking distance and a great view of the lake and we are only 2 blocks from the lake "
  • valumiere
"Great schools, parks, and children in the area. Many alternatives for family fun living by the lake. "
  • xenos33
    "Great area. Close to schools."
  • Michael B.
"Port Clinton is a very quiet place most of the year and a great place to raise kids. The schools are modern (mostly new) and highly rated. Summers are busy! Lots of weekenders coming through town to visit the Lake Erie Islands. Cedar Point only about 30 minutes away and vast numbers of marinas, food establishments and clubs within a short drive. Excellent locale from which to daytrip to Cleveland, Toledo or Columbus areas. Beaches throughout area and both state and federal preserves within 30 minutes of town. Great area for birdwatching and fishing - also water recreation."
