Description

Tastefully updated single-family residence situated on a private, flat one-acre lot, set well back from the road for added seclusion in the sought-after Georgetown West community. The kitchen offers professionally refreshed cabinetry, new quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances, with direct access to the rear deck—well suited for outdoor dining and entertaining. Main-level living spaces and the hallway stairway feature hardwood flooring, complemented by recently replaced windows on the main floor that enhance natural light and efficiency. The bedrooms and lower level are finished with newer carpeting. The primary suite, hallway, and bathrooms have been thoughtfully improved. Each bath includes updated vanities, mirrors, and lighting, with tubs and showers professionally reglazed. The interior has been freshly painted throughout, creating a bright and cohesive feel. Major improvements include a roof replaced less than two years ago, a recently installed hot water heater, and a newer garage door with updated motor. The lower-level basement is plumbed and ready for a future homeowner to add a third full bathroom to serve the two lower-level bedrooms. The private well and three-bedroom septic system were replaced in 2002 and have been professionally serviced on a consistent three- to five-year schedule, offering added confidence in ongoing performance.

  • Danny Cranford
"It’s a 10 to 15 min commute to 95, but it’s very easy and very convenient. Getting to route 1 is very easy and does not require much effort. The only bad thing is if it’s traffic then you are typically stuck and not able to get out. I work about 25 min from here but it’s an easy going commute for me and a peaceful commute. Besides that I don’t have any other complaints about the commute within Stafford county. We would definitely love to see a lot more restaurants and a lot more attractions within this area. Route 1 in stafford could use a lot more restaurant and attractions as well. Currently all you see on route 1 in stafford is old buildings and a lot of car dealerships which takes away from having more attractions in this area. "
  • Jessie Kauffman
"No community pool or open spaces for kids to play. A lot of cars drive through the neighborhood especially in the mornings. Traffic from the high school backs up all into the entrance of the neighborhood in front of peoples homes."
  • Dmordan04
"Plenty of common areas and sidewalks for dog walking. Yards a little small for people with dogs that like to run"
  • Rob P.
"There are a lot of dog owners here and you see them as they are in their walk’s around the neighborhood "
  • Sandra Kelish
"The neighbors are friendly and keep their homes looking nice. It is centrally located to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, schools, shopping centers, and a library. "

  • Susan

  • Daliburgado
"There aren’t many community events at all. It depends what community you live in. Recently there have been Christmas tree lighting at the courthouse (only 3 years old)."
  • Rebecca.graybeal26
"Sidewalks for easy dog walking and a common area to walk them around where they can explore a little more."

  • Trulia User
"there are no sidewalks and traffic is miserable. there are some parks, but not a lot, and really very little to do that doesnt involve driving to fredericksburg at the very least"
  • Nathan P.
"I see people out walking their dogs everyday. The neighborhood I live in is very safe and welcoming of pets of all kinds."
  • David
"Easy access to highway. Rail station and HOV park and ride make commuting simple. 15mins to Quantico, 45mins to Pentagon City. "
  • L.gepner
"Dog owners as myself, would like the speed limit to be enforced!! It’s dangerous walking or biking or for kids to play here in Aquia Harbor. We have no sidewalks or streetlights.. speed limit is NOT enforced.. my dog was hit by a car and killed by a neighbors car who was driving over 55 mph in a 25 mph .. I hate the drivers here.. "
  • Megs
"It’s I95. It’s the worst traffic in the United States. You can carpool so you take the EZ Pass for free, but we avoid any traveling on the weekends because it’s so bad."
  • Cortessa J.
"Family friendly. Parks. Nice helpful neighbors. Lots of children and peaceful. No crime in this area."
  • Emeraldjoelriggins
"Neighbor hood is bad town homes have a lot of drug traffic in garrison woods kids are very bad and rude "
  • Sandra K.
"The neighborhood is designed for dog walking with their owners. There are sidewalks and pet bag dispensers throughout the parks and streets."
  • Erin P.
"There are alot of families and teenagers in the area and development is on the rise. Close for commuters and military"
  • Ray M.
"My neighbor is a very busy place it seems to it’s like a stop over for people who travel north for better pay but for people who travel south it could be sometimes pretty bad that is why I would like to move towards Fredericksburg or even Spotsylvania "
  • Ljas20120
"Neighborhood trick or treat, National night out, community pool events, harvest day activities. There are plenty of family friendly events for all."
  • John B.

"It's both rural and suburban, and is a popular spot for military families. I've lived here for 18 years. my kids love it here"
  • T Bruss
"There aren’t any community events per say. There are local high school basketball, football, some other sporting events."
  • Pennsayle
"We have trees and the houses aren’t all the same cookie cutter styles. Most of the other single family home neighborhoods that have been built in the last 15-20 years the land is being clear cut and a single developer controls the housing models for that development."
  • Jwashi
"quiet, safe and family oriented neighborhood. great for raising a family. very affordable living and community events such as wine tasting, neighborhood activities and 5k runs."
  • Nicole S. C.
"I've lived in this stafford area for more then 20th years.people are so nice and good manners. very nice area to raise the child. "
