Description

Absolutely CHARMING three bedroom home in a neighborhood of all custom homes in Woodbury! This would be a perfect starter home or a great space for a family looking to downsize to a smaller, established neighborhood with a beautifully landscaped .27 acre backyard. The mature trees give you plenty of privacy and a large deck off the kitchen (37? by 12?) that was built in 2018 with built in benches and seating areas is the perfect place for outdoor entertaining and grilling. No need for elementary students to wait at a bus stop ? the Evergreen Avenue School is right at the end of the street! The current owner had a passion for planting and you can enjoy the well planned out gardens with a built-in sprinkler system(new control panel installed 2020). Brick pathways are throughout the outside space and the home has a glass enclosed porch with a skylight where you can start your seedlings (plants thrive in the winter!) or use as a reading nook! Even on sunny winter days it is an inviting spot due to the good sun exposure! The inside is as lovely and inviting as the exterior grounds. The living room is accentuated by a gas fireplace and has cherry finished built ins with a window seat that give you plenty of storage space. The dining room gives you a great view of the back yard. There is a powder room off the kitchen. The upper level houses 3 bedrooms and one full bath that was redone with ceramic tile and a new vanity in 2009 while the bathtub was refitted in 2018. There is a small attic off the guest bedroom for added storage. The owners continue to use oil heat(above ground tank in the basement) but there is gas hook ups available for conversions. This home has been meticulously maintained with a yearly AC and heating checkup (replaced in 2003), replacement windows for the downstairs and upstairs window replacements installed in 2009. Gutter helmets were added in 2019, the roof was replaced in 2013 and solar panels were leased in 2015. (New buyer has to assume the lease at $102 per month). The basement is unfinished but is dry and used for storage and the washer/dryer. Waterproofed in 2010. The main electric panel was installed in 2010. This adorable home will not last -make your appointment, today!

"I love this beautiful area. It is park-like where I live. The neighborhood used to be filled with elderly— but more young families with children are moving in. We have a small town feel but are only 20 minutes drive from downtown Philly "
  • Trulia User
"I like Woodbury. It still needs a nice playground but I’m told that it is coming. Nice high school. Downtown needs more stores and life."
  • Gerard M.
"Beautiful homes on Delaware Ave and Cooper streets, but Broad Street, hmm, well. I am sure it use to be charming. With the shopping malls nearby, its hard for this town to make a comeback to what it once was. The town is quite noisy with the freight trains always blaring their horns, police and fire always busy, and then then the cars racing each other down Rt 45 in all hours of the night."
  • Trulia User
"Very nice neighborhood. Beautiful homes and most show pride in ownership. I recommend this community."
  • Trulia User
"I love Woodbury, NJ. It is a historic town with many beautiful and grand houses. Those renovated or restored are recognized by the city. Life here in this little town is good!"
  • Trulia User
"I drive to work. Woodbury is close to everywhere and has a convenient commute! I love this city!!!!"
  • Trulia User
"Our street all put out our holiday decorations together in December and drink wine. It’s quiet for the most part, but weekends it’s nice to hear kids playing, neighbor strumming his acoustic guitar, folks barbecuing with music on, it’s a good vibe. Love Ford Ave. 💗"
  • Trulia User
"It’s quiet and calm here. The Fasola Park is very encouraging. Many families visit this park and are very much content with it. Specially in the warmer seasons. This a very peaceful neighborhood."
  • Tabbetha D.
"We have a lovely downtown. It is walkable. Could use more store fronts and restaurants. But I sense that it is coming!"
  • Mandii L. C.
"There’s a variety of different parks to go to, very nice little areas to spend time with your pup and there is even a little dog park by the skating rink"
  • Bruce B. .
"Neighborhood is OK has his ups and down has some shady characters but the police station is close by and police I was circling"
  • Megan F.
"I don't have children, but can imagine there are no shortage of things to do close to home as well under an hour- city, shore, poconos- it's all accessible from Woodbury!"
  • Jacqueline N.
"I see people walking their dogs all the time and I also have dogs. Everyone is clean and takes care of their pets. "
  • Amber M.
"Very quiet, especially in West End. You never hear or see much except people walking dogs or kids playing"
  • Akiko H.
"It’s quiet and very friendly people and it’s good distance between locations and near several employers "
  • Artistjgray
"Horrible, heavy urban environment with alot of crime and low income housing. Theft occurs here oftenly and a number of homicides have been occurring as of late."
  • Harolyn M.
"dog owners will love it because we have a dog park now in Deptford. and all owners can walk the dogs in the neighborhood without any problems"
  • Amanda D. .
"Great place but to much crime near broad street. Love how most the town is quiet and calm very friendly and neighborly in most parts. "
  • Qu33n_973
"Thing to do with cultural diversities. More block parties & more family friendly activities. Face it Woodbury is turning into a major city instead of one that nobody knows of. The times has changed & that needs to be accounted for 🤷‍♀️🏽smh they have enough cameras "
  • Jah5461
"Sidewalks to walk the dogs don’t need to walk in street. There is a train and could be worrisome if dog got loose "
  • Nikki A.
"It’s quiet. The neighborhood is very well kept. My neighbors are nice. Close to transportation and stores. "
  • Juliamakl
"Great community with friendly people. Stuff to do In the neighborhood, with things within walking distance. "
  • The M. G.
"Whith easy access to Philadelphia and all major roads, this location is perfect. There are restaurants, parks and shopping within walking distance and even better options with a short drive. This area is undervalued and has HUGE upside for the future."
