Description

Original owners have loved it for decades...now it's your turn! This perfectly-located Barclay home is a rare Radcliffe model, with a seldom found master suite addition with an expanded master bath and walk-in closet. This is a wonderful opportunity to get started in this perennially popular community. Located on beautiful Kitty Hawk Drive, which is right around the corner from the desired Russell Knight Elementary School, this home is a quick walk to grades K-5. and the bus stops for both middle schools and both high schools. (Yes, you can attend either East or West) A charming front porch opens to a bright foyer. Hardwood flooring flows through both the living and dining rooms, which are both a generous size for everyday use or formal occasions. A family room has a slider to the back patio and a large and mostly fenced yard for some fresh air fun. The kitchen is a good size and offers some wonderful opportunities for a more open remodel in the future. A laundry/utility room and powder room complete this level. Upstairs, in addition to the master, are 3 more bedrooms and a full hall bath. You will love how all 4 bedrooms have hardwood flooring. The master bedroom in this addition to the original floorplan also comes with a large walk in closet. Yes, there are some updates you will want to do to make this more 2019'ish, but this home has solid bones, recently replaced HVAC, roof and windows, a super location. So much more fun spending money on cosmetics than systems! You are minutes to the Croft farm center, Jakes Place and tot soccer fields, Pennypacker Park, and all the fabulous shops & dining in and around Cherry Hill. Downtown Haddonfield, Whole Foods, farmers markets, coffee shops, small business shopping, beloved restaurants & bars are all mere minutes away. Come see this home, now and bring your creativity and HGTV ideas!

"Lived here for 24 years and loved it! Raised my 2 kids here and they went to Cherry Hill public schools which were great! This neighborhood is a quiet and nice neighborhood. Very convenient.. close to 295. the Turnpike and Philadelphia (8 miles away) and with groceries, CVS, Wawa and Starbucks close by. "
  • Laura
"I absolutely love Barclay Farms neighborhood in Cherry Hill, NJ! It continues to be a very desirable and beautiful neighborhood with very well built homes. The builder of these homes was Bob Scarborough, who built these quality homes on the historic Barclay Farmstead. The neighbors are incredibly friendly! There are lots of families with kids, young couples, retirees, singles, so there is obviously a very nice mix of people. Barclay Farms is a very quiet, has beautifully matured trees, an amazingly serene covered bridge, and it all appears quite picturesque during every season. Barclay Farms is incredibly convenient with immediate access RT-70, I-295, and NJ Turnpike; it is also close to shopping, entertainment, restaurants, many parks, walking trails, even has 2 swim clubs, and is less than 9 miles from Philadelphia. Cherry Hill schools systems are extremely well rated and very advantageous. Anyone is lucky to have the opportunity to plant their feet into this neighborhood!"
  • Keri R.
"You couldn't find a better place to live in Cherry Hill. We had a terrific location near 70 and 295, are just a few minutes from Haddonfield and the speedline into Philadelphia and only 8 miles to Philadelphia by car! We have the historic Barclay Farmstead with its community gardens, preserved farmhouse, walking trails and fields in addition to community events, the Covered Bridge, 2 swim clubs and 2 great schools. Attractive and well maintained homes are positioned on winding and mostly very low traffic streets. I am glad I found this community when I was relocating here!"
