    "We have community events at the Library, the Neighborhood House, the school and churches. The children have a parade on Halloween down Main Street. We have a Memorial Day parade and community cookout at the village green. We also have Northeast Harbor Christmas with hayrides, visit from Santa and many fun activities. "

    "If you're into boats-sail and power- Ne Hbr is the town for you. Elegant yachts hobnob with lobster boats. Wonderful cruising destinations with many coves and offshore islands. NEH borders Somes Sound - the only fjord on the East Coast. Wonderful hiking in Acadia National Park. Close to Bar Harbor, Ellsworth and Bangor. Excellent schools. If you want to go to heaven before you die, move to Northeast Harbor!"
