I did not attend this school, but my children do. Unfortunately CCS does not prepare students well for entering the real world. The graduation rates are nothing to be proud of... and for those that graduate and go on to college... a high percentage of those students don't even make it through a two year program at a community college. It appears that most students opt to go to BOCES as an easy out to avoid a challenging learning environment. There are also many limitations for students pursuing advanced studies in math/science as we do not have enough teachers to help students who are ahead. We are hoping for a successful merger with a neighboring school to help improve the learning atmosphere for the middle/high schoolers.
