About this House

This is a great house in a great location. Brand new roof in 2013! Close to schools, shopping, food, you name it! Many updates on this house throughout. We love this place to death but cannot take it with us out of state. We would if we could. Updates include new hot water heater, gas furnace, insulation throughout, front retaining wall, front steps, storm door, and electrical wiring. Has updated appliances, ceiling fans in every room, hardwood floors throughout and almost all of the windows have been replaced with double pane windows. This house is ready to live in!

"There is a lot of traffic and people drive fast on the main roads... take care of your dogs and kids."
  • Smchristenso
"This is a very unique neighborhood. It’s got a “hippie” vibe to it, with lots of large, beautiful gardens and eclectic shops. "
  • The1thatgotaway2day
"This is a great neighborhood that I grew up in. I try to give back a little too and the bike path has been repaved recently so that’s great too."
  • The1thatgotaway2day
"I drive my car over to the Monona area for work and the bus does not run easily to that area nor did it when I went to Lafollette for high school. "
  • The1thatgotaway2day
"I drive my car and the area isn’t bad unless you have to go west during rush hour. Those times would be like 7am to 9am or 4pm to 6:30pm coming back east."
  • Ashley M. A.
"The community events and neighbors. It’s also very convenient to attractive locations like capital, restaurants, local shops and neighborhood friendly bars."
  • Bixblan
"We have lived in the area for 5 years and have really been glad that we bought in the neighborhood that we did. This is really a great central location in that we can walk to school (Lowell elementary), Goodman-Atwood community center, community gardens, dog park and great restaurants! Everything else is easily accessable by bike or bus. Area is well maintained and people really look out for one another. Great Neighborhood!"
