4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAwesome principal and really dedicated teachers, office staff, custodians, and others who are doing their very best with the tight budget and larger class sizes. There are many parents who volunteer in the classrooms. They offer really interesting afterschool programs, especially on Wednesdays when the school releases 90 minutes early. Our two children are very happy and we are dedicated public school parents. Keep up the good work.Parent Review14y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near 12th St.

"I’ve lived here for 15 years it’s a small community but is very nice. It has grown 3 x’s it size since I’ve been here. Most neighbors keep to themselves "

"Way too much traffic due to increased population, there’s plenty of accidents due to it. People drive recklessly too and have road rage. Community is growing bigger way too fast to handle it all."

"Many people walk their dogs daily, but some let their dogs out, unattended & they can cause problems, such as, dogs not being cleaned up after. But, for the most part, it’s a great place for dogs. "

"Nice small quiet town. Hardly any good restaurants or stores currently in St.Helens but the town is moving up economically so that will change soon, especially with the development of Columbia View Park. Affordable place to live with the gorgeous Columbia river as our playground."

"Small dog park very close by. Large off-leash dog park (McCormack) is also close and has a creek. Traffic is minimal. Most people in this neighborhood have dogs and are friendly to them."

"This is big city living in a small town. I was born and raised in St Helens and raised my kids here. My grand kids all live here and being raised here too. St Helens schools are not the best unfortunately but in Scappoose they are fantastic educationally and sports"

"We dont have any events. The waterfront has 13 nights on the river. It can be fun depending on the band playing. Halloween town is way too crowded for a disabled person to get around."

"There are many families and all ages of kids for new kids to join. There are also little convenience stores and Big Parks with playground play structures to play on, & trails to walk your dog or jog and look at the gorgeous scenery of trees and wild life, deer, Elk, Squirrels etc."
