6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended RFMS many years ago, but I was very pleased with my education there. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the course work and most of all the teachers. Along with inclassrom work, I learned to build things, cook things and sew things. It was an overall great experience that prepared me for high school and beyond.Other Review9y ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 129 E 5th St.

"People keep up their homes and lawns making it beautiful. I have lived here for 7 years and have always felt safe. Do not hear about break-ins the homes and businesses or any crimes."

"There seem to be a lot of dogs in the area. There are not many dog parks, or any parks that allow dogs. Most of the backyards are big enough for dogs to have space to run around and get exercise "

"Commute is typically good, except for Deer Park Ave. a lot of traffic and poor drivers. Not enough left turn arrows so you could be sitting for a while depending on time of day"

"deer park has no sidewalks, and some people refuse to put their dogs on leashes. people think its okay that to do that, and its annoying. also some people park on sidewalks and it makes it super annoying "

"The park across the street is always used by all age groups and has great accommodations for everyone. The park has tennis courts, basketball courts, a roller skate hockey rink, a decent sized really new play set area, pools as well as ample parking space. It's also conveniently close to the newly built Wyandanch train station and apartment complexes as well as the stores in the apartment areas and an incredible amount of parking available. The grocery store and 24hr CVS is around the corner as well as Starbucks, Chase bank and several other convenient stores and pet services within walking distance if need be."
