My two boys studied here and they both got incredible education and made lifelong friends.Yes, it is a fact that this community comprises of mostly wealthy families but we have seen so far are just regular kids. DPM prepared our kids well for high school. One of them went to a top 5 college in the nation for his discipline. We are thankful to the wonderful DPM that paved the way for their success.

The school is clean and clearly has an open door policy. They are very parent friendly, but that's where the strengths end. Once the doors close and the parents leave, the problems occur. The teaching is ineffective. The teachers are not differentiating their instruction to facilitate a quality educational experience for all learners. Although the students are grouped to promote cooperative learning, it is clear that students are not given the opportunities to excel to an advanced level. This is wrong and crippling to the students who can do better. The writing program is either very weak, or it is not being implemented properly. Perhaps more professional development is needed. It is unfortunate, however, that our children have to suffer by not having quality writing instruction. Fortunately, I am teaching my child how to write summaries and essays. I am also teaching my child grammar, civics, and geography. I also supplement my child's reading and math. It is clear that the school relies heavily on the parents to do the teaching. My son will excel, but it won't be because of the teachers and staff at Everett.

My kid got served raw food, students told him to kill himself and they stabbed my child with a plastic knife.

Quite possibly the best education any child would be lucky enough to receive in this country. The environment is geared toward learning and advancement toward college and a professional career. Teachers are engaging and knowledgeable. The only hit or miss is the administrative staff. Solid school, solid education along with a great athletic program. Highly recommend LFHS
