"I don't think there is any public transportation. I don't live too far from downtown so I could probably walk it. I think there is a cab but it may need to be called a day ahead of time. They are putting in some bike lanes. Otherwise it is automobiles. "

"The town has a number of street festivals with Arts and crafts and food vendors. They just had a big bike race- Assault on the Carolinas. There is an annual AAUW used book sale with +30k books. Every 4th Friday of the month there is an arts walk. I live around the corner from the Lumberyard Arts area."

"Davidson River Campground is popular for dog walking. Dogs must be on leash though. Away from the campground people unleash their dogs."

It has beautiful green spaces, is the entrance to the Pisgah National Forest for camping and hiking as well as home to the Brevard College and Brevard Music Center! Perfect location to raise a family or retire. "
