"I visit here at least 4 times a year spending anywhere from two to four weeks. The people are friendly. The weather is nice. Plenty of businesses and recreational activities, hiking, fishing, boating."

"Crossville has the basics. Better eats and amenities are 30-60 miles away. The hospital is only good for emergencies. Planned surgeries are usually done in Knoxville or Nashville."

"It’s a live and let live neighborhood. People leave you alone and expect the same courtesy from you. During inclement weather the roads are poorly maintained but that happens very few days a year Even though this county has the oldest population, the healthcare for said population is limited "

"Lots of dog owners and walkers. Unfortunately some let their dogs run free and some don’t pick up after them. Get used to seeing dead pets in the road. The locals don’t care about their pets."

"I have lived in my current place now for two years. The neighborhood has friendly people, are always willing to lend a hand. It's a beautiful area and you do see wildlife on and around our properties. Crossville is truly a beautiful place."

"Most good jobs are out of the county. Luckily, the population of Cumberland county is low so most commutes are on highways with few travelers. Once in a while accidents will close the roads. Most locals know how to get around the problem."
