9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot great. Some of the teachers are good, others are not. Communication is very inconsistent and it’s hard to know what’s going on with your individual students. Special education is severely lacking, not because the resources teachers aren’t trying. There’s simply not enough of them to provide what kids need. The classes are way too big for the teachers to provide anything close to individualized instruction. Instead of paraprofessionals, they have intern teachers from the local university. While it provides extra hands, these are brand new teachers who have not yet learned how to support every kind of learner. The principal is okay, the kids seem to like him. I find him to have the personality of room temperature soup. This is our 4th ever elementary school between our kids and moves, and the most lackluster. As soon as our middle finishes up elementary, we’re hoping to move out of the district or switch to private schools.Parent Review6mo ago10 Reviews - Rochester Adams High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are usually pretty good, but the office is where it falls short. They are terrible at coming to resolutions with problems and will often target kids who have done nothing wrong. The office would harass my sister and I so badly for things we never did that we both ended up switching to online school. The office will still leave us voicemails asking us to come in and talk ablut things we never did to this day. They also have way too many rules about unnecessary things and are overly strict and rude. Wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t care about your mental healthStudent Review5mo ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 1277 Candlestick Ln #102.

"Decent road conditions and I-75 was actually pretty smooth coasting. Was very surprised as I just moved back from Southern California in the past month which has/had been a major adjustment getting used to the work commute from Detroit to Westland where the roads are terrible ironically (in the vicinities of Westland, Taylor, and Inkster - worse then road conditions in NORTHWEST Detroit proper to be more specific even)."

"I wouldn’t necessarily say unique but more so separate from the rest. The diversity in this area is there, but not as “free” as you’d see in Ferndale/ Royal Oak area. It would be nice to have more. This city is a place to raise a family, walk the dog(s), or invite your neighbor over for a BBQ. It’s safe, clean and quiet. "

"Frequently see dog owners walking their dogs. Great leash compliance, people do a good job of cleaning up after their dogs. One concern if you have a small dog is that you need to be extra vigilant due to frequent coyote sightings in the area."
