We were very impressed with the district but as time went on and I got more involved the facade faded. The teachers are excellent but some of the procedures and some staff are hard to work with. Some of the policies are also inconsitent. Parent involvement is not a priority unless it directly benefits the system. The busses are nightmare and unsafe. Nothing constructive is being done. Moral is very low from a parent standpoint from what I've gathered talking to other parents with children in this school. There's more value on compliance than collaboration so no one else feels confident to stand up because "that's just how it's been for years and nothing has changed". I want something more innovative and collaborative for my child.

So happy with Navajo and D128. Children transferred from private schools & this is better! Wonderful staff and teachers!

I would give the school 5 stars but we’re new to the district so I’ll settle on 4. My child loves it. The students and staff have been so welcoming. The resources are awesome. My child for the 1st time loves to write. In science students are able to become the scientist, in social studies they work on solving real world problems while learning about economics in a way that is engaging to young people. The curriculum is multi-sensory. The only critique I can give is diversity upmost students and staff.

My daughter really enjoyed Kindergarten at Indian Hill. The office staff was great and her teacher was amazing. My preschooler is already excited to be starting there because of how much fun his "big sister" had.

I have had students enrolled at DDE for 7 years. The education is wonderful. Honors and AP courses provide rigorous challenges for the students. There is a positive, safe, friendly atmosphere in the school. All staff are helpful. Extra-curriculars are varied and high-quality. The school continually works to improve and the results are noticeable and commendable. I think the rating of 2 is inaccurate.
