The teacher was very impatient and even rude to our son, even though we were told that she used to be a special ed. teacher. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our family’s first year at Bedford Middle School. We have found the staff to be incredibly welcoming and supportive. I have met each of our child’s teachers for 6th and now 7th grade (the upcoming year) The curriculum is rich and varied. Our kid has had the opportunity to participate in numerous extracurricular activities that are not just sports. For example, the school musical, the spelling bee, Lego league and afterschool projects that sent them to the state capital for recognition. He has participated in clubs including cooking club, games club and movie club. He has taken woodshop, Art class, humanities and family consumer science. We have been to several schools thus far from coast to coast and I would rank Bedford Middle School as the finest we have encountered thus far. This is in no small part attributed to the staff that shepherd the facility. Special shout out to the principal, Mr. Bingman, the VP, Mrs. Pencil (best name for a teacher award), Mrs Felix, the Librarian, Mrs Dague, the geography teacher, Mrs Dunn, who teaches English, Mr Barnes the science teacher and Mrs Miller who so graciously welcomed us with big smiles well before the first day of school. Mrs Pemberton, in the computer lab and the very helpful ladies in the front office. All of these people wear multiple hats and deserve recognition for their efforts. I would recommend this school again and again. I just feel fortunate that my child gets to attend here.Parent Review2mo ago
