Most teachers are good, and the school spirit is undeniable, which is wonderful to see. However, I’ve had serious concerns with my daughter's counselor and her assigned vice principal. Unfortunately, my experience with them has been disappointing.When my daughter needed support, both of these staff members were unresponsive and seemed to lack the time or willingness to help. Despite their outward appearances of caring, their actions—or lack thereof—made it clear they weren’t genuinely invested in providing the assistance my daughter needed. The teachers are top notch and I appreciate that the school's foundation provides enrichment through the Wheeling Program - STEAM Lab, Art Studio, and PE. My kids have also benefitted from the fact that we have a full time school counselor and a focus on social emotional learning. There are many after school programs, and events that are fun and community building. I am confident that my kids are being kept safe and are getting a well rounded education.
