7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child had a few friends over, and I overheard them complaining about how some students can do almost anything and don't get in trouble. They then went on to say that most of the teachers do try their best and genuinely care about them. It is the school administrators who aren't following through on keeping order and holding students accountable. There are a few students that consistantly disrupt classes, cussing at other students and even the teachers. One veteran teacher even left a few weeks ago because the admin didn't support her. There is a student who walks on tables in the lunchroom right in front of the admin, and all they do is ask him to get down. Another student will just walk home. I know if the admin is asked about this, they will simply say yes, they are taking care of it, and cannot discuss anything about another student's behavior. This is a problem. I have seen videos of the student walking on the lunch table, as well as the same student cussing at other students in class, while the poor teacher just asks him to stop, and he ignores her. In the day and age of video, I would expect admins to be able to consistently enforce rules for all students to protect the school environment.Parent Review1mo ago21 Reviews - Midlothian High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my experience with three kids at this school. I’m not sure how they have more than a star. The bullying is outrageous , the lack of administrative support for parent or child is ridiculous. If you have special needs kids don’t be fooled and don’t sign away rights on an IEP. Advocating is challenged at all times, but they encourage it. Your child’s counselor is going to be busy or no help. Cameras are conveniently off if you have a problem that day most likely. Boys are being found in the girls restrooms while all of them vape. Please write your board of supervisors make the county take responsibility. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love Evergreen and everything they stand for! We will have 3 kids there in the fall. The neighborhood is lovely, the teachers and staff are phenomenal, and the families are involved! I love the emphasis on our multi-cultural community. They are being taught love, acceptance, and "ally-ship" which is above and beyond the regular curriculum. I've only had experience in general and gifted education and we have been very pleased so far.Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near 12611 Wood.

"There are a lot of dogs. They are all on leashes and most are well behaved. Some are in fenced in yards and they can bark a lot during the day or when a leaf blows into their yard. "

"It’s a safe area but traveling between homes is a challenge for bikes unless you are literally within a block or so. There are many hills and no sidewalks. I felt like my kids needed to be driven everywhere even though all their friends lived within the three mile bubble. "

"Very friendly neighbors, respectful of fellow residents. We enjoy a quiet, day private and safe environment. Halloween is a real treat, Christmas is not tacky. Many birds and small inoffensive wildlife and deer. Many shops, restaurants, high end medical facilities & services nearby. Several different & large supermarkets within a couple of miles. Great schools and childcare in area. "
