"it is a very hilly community and you can get winded. The other thing would be if the folks didn't pick up dog waste it could get very messy. When walking your dogs in our neighborhood you sense that people care and enjoy their community. Very safe and secure neighborhoods. There is a leash law in our city and it gives us a sense of security and safety. Strong emphasis on licensing dogs in our city too. "

"it is a great place to walk dogs. Very safe, clean and dog friendly. Definitely a dream neighborhood and a gr at place for families with kids, elderly folks and empty nesters. "

"Italian Fest is great, there’s also a Christmas tree lighting ceremony downtown in the winter. There’s always some community event to go to in Ishpeming"
