During my tenure at Locust Fork from the first to the twelfth grade, with the exception of a six-month period in the ninth grade when I attended a different institution, I had the privilege of receiving an exceptional education. This school was notably superior to the other high school I briefly attended, which faced challenges related to disruptive behavior and potential gang activity.Throughout my time at Locust Fork, I consistently felt supported and genuinely cared for by my teachers. It is my belief that individuals who express complaints about the school's quality are likely to do so regardless of the institution they attend, as they may have faced personal difficulties or academic challenges. Furthermore, parents who blame teachers for their children's shortcomings are often in denial about their children's own actions and responsibilities.During my high school years, I encountered a few students who consistently engaged in disruptive behavior and struggled academically. Unfortunately, their parents often resorted to playing the victim card, refusing to acknowledge their children's role in their own difficulties.After graduating from high school, I matriculated to The University of Alabama, where I felt well-prepared and even slightly ahead of my peers. This was largely due to the advanced placement classes and advanced diploma I had obtained at Locust Fork.Sports played a significant role in my high school experience, as I actively participated in three different sports. This aspect of my education was particularly valuable to me.In conclusion, I hold my time at Locust Fork in high regard and would not trade it for any other educational experience. I am confident that it is the best choice for my own children's education. Go Hornets class of 2008.

Locust Fork Elementary is a wonderful school. It has a loving faculty and stay who care deeply about their students. I am thankful my girls have such caring mentors in their lives.
