5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had the privilege of substitute teaching at this school and many others in our area. There is something very special about the leadership and teachers at this school. River Bend has a truly committed, knowledgeable, engaged principal and assistant principal and they have the most dedicated teachers. What is truly unique is the true team element of everyone that works at this school. From Dr Otto through the cafe workers, everyone cares about every child. I am thrilled my two grand children have been able to thrive at this school!!Parent Review3y ago6 Reviews - Parkway Central Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm a current student here (8th grade) and i transferred last year from a different school. It's not a bad school in terms of learning and accommodating kid's learning styles, but when it comes to bullying or bad behavior i feel like most of it is overlooked unless it's physical. I am personally a victim of this because I'm lesbian, and i have other friends on the LGBTQ+ spectrum that get bullied as well. However, there is little to no racism in the classes, at least to my experience. The community is very diverse and welcoming of people of any skin color. Also, certain teachers care more about your attendance and grades than your actual health (mental or physical), and won't lay off if you do one thing wrong, like getting your work done slowly. It's usually those same teachers that overwhelm students with work and have them staying up late with homework and making them tired, then blaming them for not doing their work quick enough. The schedule is based on Even and Odd days, and you only have 4 classes each day except for Wednesday when you have all 8. Lunches aren't the best but they also aren't terrible. That's all i can think of for now but i'm sure there's more problemsStudent Review2y ago7 Reviews - Check out schools near 126 La Gorce Dr.

"It’s a safe and amazing place to live, raise kids, and enjoy your home. I would highly recommend Chesterfield to anyone, other than if you have to deal with anyone in the Chesterfield Planning department. They are horrible people to work with. "
