  • Elaine Johnson
"I live in Los Angeles. I love the big city. Los Angeles has plenty of options with activities and buying a home or apartment which comfortably to chose from. "
  • Vanessa Dunn
"There arenโ€™t any events that make it special. The people who live here do not take care of their hometown. "
  • Trulia User
"Quiet neighborhood, safe to walk your dog. Donโ€™t see status or anything that can endanger a dog. Nearby parks."
  • Trulia User
"there are many families of different races and everybody looks out for each other and it's great location"
  • Trulia User
"Personally I see a lot of neighbors walk their dogs every day around this neighborhood and I have never seen neighbors let their dog do their thing on my grass my dogs and their dogs bark sometimes but not every time they pass by Itโ€™s that type of respect level we have here in this neighborhood"
  • Trulia User
"Itโ€™s close to the ocean and potentially beautiful. However the class of people destroy it. We need more respectful people here."
  • Trulia User
"Dog friendly neighborhood in all the residential streets. No trees or lawns on the Main streets so not the best place to walk your dog. "
  • Edgar F.
" we don't like the fact that there's a lot of homeless people ๐Ÿ˜• Wilmington needs to do something about it! "
  • P_alvarez_01
"Bicycle events and holiday parades. Tree lighting ceremony in December for Christmas. They provide a lot of free food programs."
  • Monique052813
"My neighborhood is the best, it has schools, industrial, freeways, trains, refineries near by and I can go for walks anytime ๐Ÿ˜Š "
  • Jorge R.
"4th of july is always very memorable. you wont see another firework show like the one you see in wilmington california."
  • Francisca D. G.
"Main streets are lit but many small streets are very dark, many attractions are within walking distance but make sure to keep track of time. Many families live in the area but big rigs are always passing through and there's a large homeless population. Ba aware and stay safe."
  • Francisca D. G.
"The neighborhood is calm outside of the big streets. Nearing the 4th of July, the streets can get very loud at night... it might not be many but the fireworks that go off can be vary loud."
  • Ec1love.ec
"This is the city I grew up in. The city has its good and bad side just like any other neighborhood. "
  • Blissful78
"Schools here are LAUSD and are over crowded. I have an infant right now and do not plan on letting him go to the schools in this area unless major changes are made. I feel if more hard working and respectful people move into this area/neighborhood then this can be accomplished. Lots are big and houses are nice, community just needs to start demanding more from its resources like the other surrounding areas like PV, Carson, harbor city, etc."
  • Trulia User
"I have lived here for nearly 10 years and the neighborhood has relatively low crime, is quiet, and mostly people mind their business. "
  • Carmen R.
"You see a lot of people walking their dogs in the neighborhood. Not all dog owners pickup their dog poop."
  • Leo M.
"Traffic is ok because itโ€™s sooo industrial. Who will choose to live here? There is also a homeless issue. That needs to be address. "
  • Patricia G.
"2020 everythingโ€™s its to expensive a lot of homeless people and druggies everywhere not a god place to live no more "
  • Patricia G.
"Well is going bad a lot of shooting and a lot of homeless and a lot of stealing in the area not a lot of police "
  • Vsh V.
"Thereโ€™s many schools around us, many parks to check out. Lots of food places which i love, a liquor store in almost every corner, gas stations every where. Itโ€™s very convenient having a lot of stores like markets near by. "
  • Ernesto W.
"I am a licensed driver but I stay off the road unless I really need to drive. I hate driving in Wilmington. Many accidents near my intersection. "
  • Jonr198247
"They like it very dog friendly a lot of peopleโ€™s with dog at park just keep him on a leash when outside"
  • Jeannette G.
"The waterfront park activities are great especially around the holidays ! Itโ€™s a fun way for the kids to get into the holiday spirit ! I love seeing my kids smile and play with other little kids "
  • Edervalenc1313
"Banning museum,,drum barracks ext. This are really kool places too visit, we also have many more to look at it's the Harbor Area what u expect โ™ค โ˜† โ™ง"
  • Jackiesantana099
"The neighbor is not that bad as it sounds. There may be more than a few homeless hanging around. Itโ€™s a very busy city but yet weโ€™re very involved in the community, I personally donโ€™t feel comfortable walking around once the sun starts setting. "
  • Osvaldo N.
"We have everything restaurant markets auto parts community park church business center in small town "
  • Miss M.
"There are festivals/carnivals throughout the year on holidays. The schools are literally within walking distance for all kids. "
  • Aaliyahaballesteros1031
"Kids normally skate around the neighborhood but itโ€™s always good to let you kids know to be aware of their surrounding "
  • Jessica C.
"All the elementary schools around the area. The easy accessible grocery stores and restaurants. Banning park is nice too. "
  • Licha 1.
"Itโ€™s not very safe around the areas at night. A lot goes on even during the day which is very scary & specially when small children are around you just donโ€™t know what is going to happen. "
  • Heathertafaoimalo
"I've lived here for three years now and the area sucks and expensive to rent for a junkie area so that is why I'm moving within the next 6-8months. "
  • Tmizzle710
"To make sure their kids are safe and well taken care of. To be friendly courteous and respectful. To lead by example and teach their kids how to be independent by teaching them how to cook clean and understand the value of a dollar and what it means to work and earn your own way of living. "
  • Patty
"Love Wilmington the best city wonderful city a lot of activity in this city would recommend it love the people and there Hispanic culture "
  • Steven66torres
"I love living a block away from the park. I walk my dogs every day, sometimes with the baby too. My only complaints are people that let their dogs walk off leash and/or donโ€™t pick up after their dogs. But that happens everywhere..."
  • Srcassick2013
"Unfriendly neighborhood. Want to move ASAP. Staying with family friend and this is not a kid friendly neighborhood. Lots of gang activity."
