Donna High School is actually a great school. The work is incredibly rigorous and the teachers are amazing in every way. Everyone at DHS is committed to helping the student learn and ultimately graduate and attend a university or college. Donna High is a great school regardless of the bad media and reputation that people associate with it. The school is really disciplined and responsible and will ensure success. Also, the school has a great deal of spirit and traditions that just reinforce a great high school education and atmosphere. DHS is the place to be.

First I would like to say as a former student I did have fun and enjoy the school but recently my sister has been enrolled in the school and always comes with complaints saying that her teacher has favorites and that is only harsh with her. She recently came upset saying that she got blamed for something she didn't do and the teacher did not take both sides only the side of her favorite student. To me that shows unprofessional behavior and shows that they are not thinking of a child's well being. It is not even the 1st time it has happened when we set up her Class Dojo she took points of for saying that we did not complete it even though we send her a picture and later told my sister to ask the teacher for a new video if it was not available but all she said was "well then I will take points off" not even working with us to solve the situation and when confronted she brushed it off didn't send any suggestions but still sends messages through the own app my sister got in trouble for not sending anything.

This school is great!! Teachers are very good they won't give up on your kid! Donna has a lot of gangs but with their disciplinary rules and strict dress codes their is no chance your kid will become a follower. The only down fall at Donna ISD is their district and school websites never get up to date!! Come on Donna this is 2014!!!
