Spring Lake has weathered a lot of obstacles but it is awesome and unique! The recent MAP scores are ABOVE average and the economic health is very good. The teachers are caring and skilled. The staff is all outstanding and the new superintendent (Dr.Nagel) has taken the reins from Mr. Reising and continued the tradition of continual improvement! The students are FIRST here !

"I have lived in this area all of my life and still live on Bass Rd. Quiet and safe with the benefits of small community living. Public transport is non existent. If you are an outdoors-man this is a great location with fishing and hunting literally down the road. Children in this area attend Pekin Community High school. I grew up knowing this home and it has always been very clean and well cared for. The only reason I suggest that it may not be for retirees is because of the drive to Pekin on the Manito blacktop. "
