7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor how little funding Cascade gets, its doing really well. The teachers are amazing and most of them genuinely care for students beyond just school. However, Cascade does not have much discipline given out by the administrative level hence why many students continue to be disinterested in learning and thereby decreasing the overall performance of Cascade. This decline causes the school to gain very little funding almost every year and cut many of its crucial academic programs instead of expanding and adding more. Overall, the teachers try very hard to make students feel welcome and to teach students. However, the Everett Public Schools district and Cascade Administrative Team continuously makes poor decisions causing us to become a school that doesn't have a lot to offer compared to other schools in the area. Furthermore, administrators are not very strict on rules and regulations making students feel free to discriminate and even ensue violence against others. This is what lead me to not recommend Cascade as a school to attend if you are given the choice. Again, the teachers are amazing, its just the administrators and district employees that have screwed us over.Student Review1y ago8 Reviews - Evergreen Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school really isn’t the best. I’m currently in 8th grade, and there have been at least 5 fights every semester. Although the teachers try their bests to break them up, it doesn’t succeed. I know a teacher that hurt her back breaking up a fight before I even was in this school. I hope she’s okay now. But overall, this school is a bit disappointing. I don’t think it’s the school, but more it’s students. I believe there should be more enforcement to change this schools students. Kids act like they are fond of their teachers, and teacher think they have relationships with said students. But those kids are actually the biggest bullies and hate those teachers. Let’s make adults more aware.Student Review9mo ago4 Reviews - Madison Elementary School

"I like the neighborhood yard sales on the weekend sometimes for a whole neighborhood. Great fun. I like walking around Green Lake during Christmas time and driving around especially like grand Avenue another special neighborhoods that got all the lights going on during the holiday season."

"I have easy access to park & rides which get from Everett to Seattle conveniently. unfortunately, my job requires me to have my car, so I commute. Traffic from Everett to north Seattle can be challenging at 6:30am--usually 45 min, it frequently jumps to nearly an hour."

"Ive lived here for 12 years. I’m finally moving. To be honest Beverly lane is a busy road that everyone speeds on (Evergreen alternative). The hill is too steep to climb or descend in the snow but every year there are a few accidents before the police block it off. The police have also done neighborhood searches at least once every 2 years. I’ve seen 2 drivebys, two cars rolled over, a kids foot ran over, 2 break ins"
