Both of our kids have attended grades 6-8 and I don't know of a better academic team (from the principal down) for middle schoolers. The teachers make learning fun, and invest in the kids' experiences. The administration actively works to keep the school and community connected. It was the launch pad for my oldest's journey to one of SC's Governor's Schools. They hold Parent University sessions/parent nights that educate the parents on topics from mental, academic and emotional/social points of view. He comes home from school sharing his new spelling strategies and math skills. He loves learning and that is something that be fostered at home and killed in the classroom, but his spark for wanting to learn, grow, and read have caught fire. It isn’t without the support from the school staff like the related arts teachers, classroom teachers, school counselors, the media specialist, and all the other adults pouring into him each and every day.Parent Review1y ago
