Description

Charming early 18th century farmhouse on over an acre of land. Built in 1716 with a Greek Revival addition in 1840, it was completely restored in the early 1970s by a local restoration architect -- and sensitively most recently in 2020 to make this home thoroughly modern while keeping its historic charm. Two new full baths, kitchen with new stainless appliances, fabulous marble countertops, and new floor. Wide board pine floors throughout have been refinished and the whole interior repainted. New heating system and hot water, and new 200 amp electricity. Roof is 8 years old. First floor has light filled living room with fireplace, cozy study, formal dining room, large eat-in kitchen w/pantry, and full bath w/ low step shower. Steep stairs to the second floor with two bedrooms, one at each end of the house, and a sitting room with fireplace, small nursery, and full bath in-between. Basement has brick floor and workshop. House and garden shed set at back of lot for privacy from street.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
