my child was in a special Ed classroom at the school. they treat the kids in these classes so unfairly. I was told by my child that the teachers made them clean the lunchroom, aren't they supposed to be learning? Instead, she was forced by their teachers to pick up a mess which she was not responsible for it wasn't just them it was the other kids, this school is very cruel towards kids with disabilities and will not let them have a future or help them get an education after, the reason why? For the special needs kids they will not be able to go to college because they will be given a exceptional diploma and if they want to they will have to get an education all over again at the local college for a GED! This is absolutely vile. If you have special needs kids please find a school more accepting and that encourages a great future for your kid! My child was very unlucky for this, I wish I could have done put my child at a better school if I knew her future would never be ensured here. This school needs to be investigated.

The playground is insane and downright unsafe. There have been issues every year. They had many safety issues and the chose to leave 70 some kids being "watched" by two teachers that believed that they are on a break and chatting. There are entire areas out of the sight to those casually sitting on the bench that a child can be hurt, the bullys know this. Only this year when I freaked out was a change made. It's been going on for some 6 years, that I am aware of.I truly wonder in those years, how many kids were hurt on that playground.

I was concerned because my daughter was struggling to enjoy reading. She is very smart and has good grades in all of her classes, but she avoided reading at all costs. I called the school and asked them to evaluate her for learning disorders to hopefully explain the struggles we were having. The vice principal called her into his office and asked her to stand in front of him and read a paragraph. When she was finished, he explained to her that she had no trouble reading. He informed my daughter that she should go home and explain to her mom that not everybody loves to read and just because her mom loves to read, that doesn't mean she will. After a trip to the eye doctor, I discovered that she needed reading glasses and my concerns for her reading troubles did have a valid explanation. Don't send your kids here. If you care about your child's well-being at all, find another school. There is daily violence in the hallways, and the students are smoking and vaping before class. I am still struggling to reverse the damage done to my daughter by the environment at this school.
