We completed the following updates in 2019
- Kitchen has new stainless gas stove with matching over-the- range microwave, all new countertops, butcher block peninsula & high-end stainless sink w/ low divide and tall pull-down faucet
- all three bathrooms have new countertops, vessel sinks w/ waterfall faucets, new rebuilt master shower, wood-look ceramic tile tub/shower surround and back splash
- new pump and pool & spa heater
We are retired after 32/38 years of military/federal service and have lived in all of the homes we have for rent. We are responsible, responsive and respectful landlords and look for the same in our tenants. Many of the materials/appliances are the same as in the home we currently live in. All renovations were made based on what we would like to have if were living in it, or would have liked to have while we were. We would move into any of our properties without hesitation.
Added solar panels in Dec 2017. Electric charge is 80% of what El Paso Electric charges, plus charge for electricity used from El Paso Electric (above and beyond what the panels produce and when the panels are not producing-nights and bad weather). Rent includes pool cleaning, yard maintenance, water filter change and 3d Gen SimpliSafe equipment and monitoring. Completely renovated 2015-2016 (we continue to update); lots of storage in garage (shelves & ceiling racks, small under-stairs storage closet); new: storage shed, windows, heating & a/c (converted from evaporative cooling to geothermal air conditioning), energy-efficient foam roof, blinds on all windows and doors (all but three are cordless), laminate flooring upstairs, ceramic tile throughout the rest of the house, ceiling fans in family room & bedrooms, infrared electric quartz fireplace insert (capable of heating 1,000 sqft = the whole downstairs), child-safety covers on range knobs, pool alarm on door from family room to patio, water-saving desert landscaping, solar yard lights, whole house 3-stage water filter, added utility sink in garage, 10-year sealed battery smoke (3: (1) 1st floor hallway and (1) outside master and (1) outside the two front-facing bedrooms) and carbon monoxide (3: (1) in kitchen, (1) outside laundry room and (1) on 2nd floor near furnace) detectors; new bamboo toilet seats; new kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, dishwasher; fairly new, large side-by-side refrigerator with in-door ice and water dispenser w/ built in water filter); new linen shelf with clothes rod in laundry room; fairly new front loading washer and dryer; painted wood trim around all windows; master bathroom has jetted tub; new energy efficient windows; stucco outside was refinished and repainted; inside walls were refinished and painted. New dishwasher, garbage disposal, range hood and water heater. Jul '18: rebuilt whole house water softener. Oct '18: Installed front and back security doors and new garage door opener. Nest smart learning thermostats up and downstairs: set eco-temps and control temperatures through Nest app.
Additional parking: 2 spaces in front of garage and 2 curbside spaces. Backyard has chimney grill.
